HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says a 60-year-old Whitehall woman was killed when she lost control of her pickup on a curve in U.S. Highway 2 near Whitehall.

The patrol says the woman was eastbound at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday when the pickup drifted off the road on a left hand curve. The driver overcorrected and struck a delineator post, causing the pickup to roll.

The pickup came to rest on its right side and the driver died at the scene.

Her name hasn't been released.
