Watch Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson Dance Gangnam Style to End Debt
December 7, 2012 6:41 PM The odd Korean dance craze known as Gangnam style, has suffered relentless iteration, but rarely (if ever before) has it been done by powerful politicians for the cause of ending the debt crisis. Enter Wyoming’s former elder Senator Alan Simpson. One of the headline members of the Presidents Simpson/Bowles Debt comission.
The dance was performed for a grassroots political group called “The Can Kicks Back,” which, as it’s name suggests, is attempting to get congress to stop kicking the can down the road when it comes to solving the nations debt crisis. Although Simpson may not fit the demographic the group is targeting, i.e. the nations youth, he certainly does a good job of getting attention.
