Victim of Fatal Blunt Force Trauma In Downtown Missoula Identified

One thing is known…41 year-old Angelo Fuentes of Spokane was fatally injured on the sidewalk outside the Missoula Elks club just after midnight on Saturday morning. Just how he was injured..whether through an accident or through a beating…is still in the hands of police investigators. Fuentes was found on the sidewalk after a hip-hop concert called the ‘Planet of the Apes’. Brock Eggleston, who was working the show…went outside in time to see Fuentes laying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk. He retrieved surveillance footage for a police investigator.

I spoke with Mr. Eggleston Monday afternoon who provided the attached comments..and also with Aaron Traylor with Town Square Media’s Zoo-FM about the fallout from Fuentes’ death on the future of hi-hop concerts in Missoula.
