There are some really great resources and efforts out there to help with taxes. It is not easy and sometimes it's best to get help. The University of Montana is starting up their free tax help, so take advantage.

Every year they do this and offer this for a number of Saturdays. Making it easy for folks who work M-F. They start this Saturday February 23rd and it goes until March 24th. Check out the event listing below for information and what you need to have handy. Also if you are a student this is great to utilize as well and make sure you are getting everything back you should.

They wrote on Missoula Events :

IRS-certified volunteers will provide free basic tax return preparation and e-filing to eligible individuals who make less than $54,000 per year. The VITA Program will take place at the University of Montana’s Gallagher Business Building Room 209 on Saturdays, February 3rd through March 24th, from 9 AM – 4 PM. Visit irs.gov and search "VITA" to find eligibility criteria as well as a list of information to bring along including Photo ID and Social Security cards for you, your spouse, and dependents."
