A man and woman were arrested in Missoula Tuesday evening, both of whom have been charged with a homicide that occurred last weekend near Dillon. 

Detective Sergeant Travis Welsh, Public Information Officer with the Missoula Police Department said Sandra Lee Cantrell, 49, and Christopher Lee Stiles, 29, were taken into custody near Cregg Park.

"We received word from the Beaverhead County Sheriff in relation to an investigation that they had underway," Welsh said. "He also said the two suspects had outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions. We also had information that they may be headed this way. They were apprehended in Cregg Park, and after being questioned by officers, were taken into custody."

According to the Missoula County Jail roster, both were being held on fugitive warrants, as well as charges of obstructing a peace officer.

Both suspects appeared via video from the Missoula County Jail on Wednesday afternoon, and Judge Amy Blixt ordered them held for authorities in Beaverhead County.

Beaverhead County Sheriff Jay Hansen said late Wednesday afternoon, that warrants were prepared by a district judge charging Christopher Lee Stiles with deliberate homicide, and Lee Ann Cantrell with accountability for deliberate homicide in the death of Mark Robert Mullan, 60, of Butte.

Hansen thanked the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation, Butte-Silver Bow law enforcement, the Missoula Police Department, the Montana Highway Patrol, the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula, the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service for their assistance in this case.
