Today on the Talk Back show, we will be speaking with the Executive Vice President of the National Taxpayers Union, Pete Sepp. Sepp specializes in the effects of taxes on the Energy sector, but has also written about ways to reform systems like medicare and tax administration. Sepp has been on nearly every major U.S. News network and even appeared on programs like "The Daily Show." His articles can be found in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Journal and many more.

One of the topics that Sepp specializes in is the interaction between the EPA, energy production, and taxes. In his press release Sepp mentions the EPA's "crucify" video which features the director of EPA Region 6, Al Armendariz explaining the "philosophy" of the EPA.  I'm sure the video will come up in our discussion, you can watch it now of course to have a head start.

If you've never heard of the National Taxpayer's Union, they are associated with the Tax Foundation website as well as a spons0r of ShowMeTheSpending.org. The National Taxpayers Union considers itself "the largest and oldest grassroots taxpayer organization in the world," and is often at the forefront of tax debates advocating for overhaul an replacement of our tax code with systems like the Flat or Fair Tax.
