As Montana continues to climb out of the COVID 19 pandemic, the state’s economy is improving, in that the unemployment rate has dropped from 4.6 to 4.4 percent in December
Montana's unemployment rate continues to plummet, hitting lows that the state hasn't seen since before the so called "Great Recession" that lasted from December of 2007 to June of 2009.
Montana’s unemployment numbers are finally out for January. According to Montana Department of Labor and Industry Chief Economist Barbara Wagner, the unemployment rate has continued to fall.
"Montana's economy continued to improve, we posted 2,700 jobs added in January over the month since December, so that's pretty strong job growth and also, our unemployment rate ticked down slightly from f
