Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for Randy Harris, who led authorities on a dangerous vehicle chase in downtown Missoula Monday evening. At about 5:30 pm, Harris and another unidentified man refused to yield to police resulting in a short pursuit in the downtown area

October 24, 2011 John Walsh, founder and host of the TV series 'America's Most Wanted', was in Missoula last week to shoot a special on the manhunt for David Burgert, the anti-government radical charged with attempted murder after shooting at two Missoula County Sheriff's Department deputies in June. Transient’s Body Found Near University
October 4, 2011 The unidentified body of a man in his 20's was found early this morning in a transient camp not far from the windmill across the river from the UM Campus. Two Men Arrested Near Evaro Hill For Marijuana Grow Operation
August 15, 2011 Two men, 46 year-old Michael Urziceanu and 40 year-old Andrew Allested were arrested by Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies on Saturday at a property on Evaro Hill and charged with felony criminal production or manufacture of dangerous drugs. Upon arrival, tribal officers led the deputies to a campsite about a hundred yards off the road. Deputies found and seized over 330 marijuana plants, three rifles and ammunition.
