MCPS To Hold Child Screenings [AUDIO]

Missoula County Public Schools will sponsor an early childhood screening for children birth to age 5 (pre-kindergarten) on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Oct. 26-28, at Jefferson School, 1700 South Avenue West, in Missoula. Egyptian Guest Teaching Arabic In School District One

Students in Arabic language and culture classes at Hellgate High School andWillard Alternative High School programs are learning from a new instructor this school year – Mohamed Abdelsamad, an Egyptian on a one-year fellowship with the U.S. Department of State. As a fellow, Abdelsamad is participating in the 2011 Teachers of Critical Languages Program (TCLP). He is one of 25 teachers selected from China and Egypt for participation in programs this school year across the United States.
