Montana gas prices went up over the last week by about four cents. The amount may not seem like much, but gasbuddy.com Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says the trend is surprising.
Surprise, surprise. Gas prices in Montana went up again this past week and look like they will continue to do so in the near future. Montana is still beating the rest of the country with the lowest average price.
Gas prices in Montana continue to climb through mid-March, however, there is hope that a shift in oil prices may keep prices from climbing too much in the near future.

Nationwide gasoline prices have been climbing for 20 straight days now, and although Montana enjoys the cheapest prices in the country, it is one of the few states experiencing higher prices than last year.
