Interagency wildland fire officials with the Missoula County Fire Protection Association have decided to keep fire danger within Missoula County at VERY HIGH.
Crews from Missoula Rural Fire and the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation are responding to a grass fire on Saddleback in the Big Flat area.
Officials with the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation said on Tuesday, that the Lost Mine Loop fire on Upper Miller Creek Road would be 100% controlled by the end of the day.
It was confirmed on Monday morning that the Lost Mine Loop fire burning in the Upper Miller Creek area was caused by the exhaust from a hot chain saw on private property early Sunday afternoon.
