One juvenile male was arrested Monday evening in conjunction with five vehicle thefts in the Stevensville and Florence areas on September 15. Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman said another juvenile male already in custody was charged today.
John Jay Freeman, 38, was arrested on Sunday, October 27, at the Howard Apartments and charged with felony criminal mischief. During his arrest, police officers used their taser weapons on Freeman twice before subduing him.
The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information into the identity of the person(s) that caused damage to a truck and the Mountain View School building located at 1010 Clements Road. I spoke with Public Information Officer Jason Johnson about the case on Tuesday afternoon. That interview is attached.
The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and the Missoula Police Department responded to several reports of criminal mischief during the weekend. Unknown suspects sprayed orange, black and pink paint on over one hundred vehicles. The crime activity stretched from the Canyon Creek Village development near the airport to the Target Range and South Ave area.
