Thursday evening, Dec. 20, a representative for the Missoula Police Department confirmed that they are aware of a shooting threat made to multiple Missoula high schools tomorrow.
Police officers have made contact with the student that made the threat and are closely monitoring the situation.
The police department spokesman declined to comment any further, in order not to make the rumor spread.
One of the sources of the initial threat may have originated on Facebook, and then went viral.
