House bill 514 was defeated in the House of Representatives. The bill would have expanded Montana’s human rights act to protect gay, lesbian, and transgender people from discrimination in housing, public accommodation and employment. Civil Rights Attorney, Roberta Zenker takes exception

House bill 516 moved from the House to the Senate and would ban communities from passing social ordinances such as Missoula’s Anti-discrimination Act.
