Back in 2009, Nadya Suleman — known better as “Octomom” — infamously gave birth to eight babies she had as the result of fertility treatments.

Her exploits since then have kept the tabloids busy, but it seems a woman in Mexico is now set to win a rather twisted game of one-upsmanship: next month, she’s due to give birth to nine babies.

With the help of a fertility specialist, Karla Vanessa Perez of the northeastern state of Coahuila got pregnant with six girls and three boys, all of which she’s carrying to term. If they’re all delivered successfully, the nonuplets would be one of the highest multiple births on record.

And just like Octomom before her, these aren’t her first children. She already has triplets.

Asked by news agency Notimex if she had named picked out yet, she said,  “It’s very early to think of names … First I hope that everything goes well.”
