Pedestrian Struck By SUV In Serious Condition

An unidentified female pedestrian is in serious condition this morning at St. Patrick Hospital after being struck by an SUV at West Broadway and Palmer Streets. Missoula Police Sergeant Dustin Delridge says the SUV, driven by an unidentified woman in her 40's struck a female pedestrian in her early 20's who was in the roadway at about 1:30 this morning. Delridge says the driver called 9-1-1 immediately and an ambulance transported the pedestrian to St. Patrick Hospital with serious and perhaps life-threatening injuries. The driver cooperated fully with police and volunteered a blood sample. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the accident.
