Montana's Jobs for Graduates program was ranked number one in the nation this week. Montana Department of Labor and Industry spokeswoman Casey Kyler-West said the program has proven to have a long list of positive outcomes.
Montana Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau was at Missoula's Big Sky High School Friday morning, September 20, to receive a $50,000 check from the Student Assistance Foundation to Graduation Matters Montana.
The effort to keeps students in school through high school graduation will be starting earlier than ever, thanks to a grant to Graduation Matters Missoula from the Montana Office of Public Instruction.
