MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — The so-called motorcycle bandit who pleaded guilty to robbing four banks in western Montana over a year's time has been sentenced to just over 14 years in prison and ordered to pay $88,000 in restitution.

A customer at a Lakeside bank followed the robber, who fled on a motorcycle, eventually leading to 56-year-old Steven Dee Norred's arrest.
