Montana has lagged behind the rest of the nation when it comes to higher gas prices, but that might be changing soon. Last week the national average slowed its climb, while Montana’s prices were racing to catch up. Here’s GasBuddy’s Petroleum Analyst Patrick Dehaan with the specifics.

The average price of gas in Montana jumped about eleven cents last week and is expected to keep climbing for at least another two months. Gas prices in the State are nearly sixteen cents hire than they were just a year ago.
