High school students from 17 Montana and Idaho schools are in Missoula to attend the Montana Model United Nations Conference that continues through Tuesday at The University of Montana.

UM Associate professor Karen Adams says 350 students are representing 96 of the United Nations’ 193 member states, debating and writing resolutions addressing important international issues.

Closing ceremonies will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. tomorrow in the George and Jane Dennison Theater, where five high school seniors will be awarded scholarships to attend UM.
