Three people are in custody following an investigation that began the theft of an Ipod and led to a cache of drugs and other stolen property.

Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said a man and woman were arrested on felony charges, while another man was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge.

"The investigation began with the theft of an Ipod and some check forgeries, and that gradually ripened into a larger investigation that led to a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of North Surrey Street , where drugs and stolen property were seized and arrests were made," Welsh said.

The Missoula County Jail Roster indicates that Shelisha Palmer, 24, and Lance Kickingwoman, 21 were both charged on Friday afternoon in Missoula JUstice Court with criminal possession of methamphetamine, second offense and criminal possession with intent to distribute, both with $50,000 bond.

Welsh said a third person identified as Christopher McMann was cited and released for misdemeanor charges of drug possession.
