Missoula County has a new Elections Administrator after meetings this month, Missoula County Communications Director Anne Hughes explains.

"Commissioners interviewed three finalists on January 17," Hughes said. "The finalists were all strong, very strong, and the commissioners decided to offer the position to Dayna Causby."

Hughes says Causby’s job title helped her stand out from the crowd.

"Dayna currently serves as an elections administrator which is great," Hughes said. "It's a really difficult job. Missoula county voters expect a lot from our elections office and our office does a great job of providing services to voters and Dayna really echoed that in her application and through the process, she really emphasizes continued improvement and quality customer service."

Causby served as an elections Administrator in Shelby, North Carolina since 2014. She shouldn’t have too much difficulty fitting into Missoula as she attended college on both ballet and equestrian scholarships and her son is a bull rider.
