Man Arrested After Bringing Cocaine From Spokane
Little did 54 year-old John Komotios know as he drove his red Cadillac El Dorado through the night on New Year’s Eve from Spokane to Missoula, that he was being carefully observed by drug enforcement officers in three states. Komotios was pulled over by Missoula police after coming off I-90 and confronted about carrying drugs after failing to stop at the stop sign at the orange street exit. Court records indicate that Komotios had a plastic bag filled with cocaine in the trunk of his vehicle.
Komotios was arrested and charged with criminal possession with intent to distribute dangerous drugs. He is currently in the Missoula County jail on $50,000 bond. If convicted, he could receive up to 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
