Saturday, February 9, after the last skier comes down the hill at Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Area south of Hamilton, the annual Steak Fry starts. The fundraiser to support Lost Trail Ski Patrol starts at about 4:30 p.m. with two options - $15 for the steak fry and just $10 for a hamburger dinner. The music will be by the bluegrass group "Headin' North" and the lodge will be full of people until about 8:30 p.m.

The money raised at the annual festival will help the Lost Trail Ski Patrol with equipment and training to help keep the skiers and snowboarders safe on the ski area. Besides the music and food, there will be a silent auction and some raffle prizes. Lost Trail Ski Area is at the top of Lost Trail Pass, on the Montana-Idaho border at the south end of the Bitterroot Valley. As they say, it's "Marvelous moguls, music and meat" at the Lost Trail Ski Patrol Steak Fry.
