Man Dies Following Longboard Accident in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Police in Billings say a 20-year-old Billings man injured after being run over by a pickup pulling him on his longboard has died.

Police tell the Billings Gazette that the man and a 16-year-old boy were holding the side of the truck about 1:50 p.m. Saturday when the 20-year-old lost his footing and fell under the truck.

The man was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Healthcare where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police say the 21-year-old driver of the truck is cooperating with authorities.

Names haven’t been released.
