JC From 96.3 The Blaze Headed to Afghanistan [AUDIO]

Veteran’s Day is Sunday, and the Townsquare Media family is wishing the best to one of our own, JC from 96.3 The Blaze.
JC is currently in training with the U. S. Army preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. A specialist in electronics, JC is receiving instruction in not only her job, but also in the culture of the country.
Her deployment will last about a year, even though the President has announced a permanent withdrawal from the war-torn country. JC has received assurances from her operations director Scott Shannon, as well as her general manager, Shawna Batt, that her job will be waiting when she returns. The Reverend Brian, once a Blaze jock and production director, will be filling in.
The station held a going away brunch for JC to wish her the best as she serves her country in Afghanistan.
