UPDATE May 20 3:00 p.m.

Captain Curt Stinson with the Helena Police Department told KGVO News that the two missing teens, Bailey Parker and Rachael Parner, were found safe in downtown Missoula at approximately 2:00 p.m. by Missoula police.

Stinson said the two were taken to the Missoula police station, where officers notified Helena police and the teens' parents. The two were on foot, and somehow found a ride from Helena to Missoula.

He said, due to the concerns for Bailey Parker and his possible mental health problems, he is being checked out medically. It is not known when the two will be returned to Helena.

UPDATE May 20 1:00 p.m.

Helena police have told KGVO News that the two missing teens may be on the road, possibly on I-90 headed west towards Missoula.

Captain Curt Stinson said Helena Middle School reported the two, 14 year-old Bailey Parker and 15 year-old Rachael Parner had left the school together at about 8:20 a.m.

Bailey, the 14 year-old male, had left information that he might be suicidal or a danger to himself," Stinson said. "Naturally, we're also concerned about the welfare of the 15 year-old female, Rachael Parner. We suspect they may have caught a ride with someone, or have obtained a vehicle."

Stinson said investigators were able to trace one of the teen's cell phones to a tower near Drummond.

"We believe they're probably on the I-90 corridor possibly headed west, so we are particularly hoping that people in the Missoula area might keep an eye out for a vehicle with these two individuals inside. We suspected they might be headed toward Butte, because one of the two had run before and was found in Butte."

Stinson is asking anyone in the Missoula area, especially along the I-90 corridor to keep an eye out for Parker and Parner.

"If you see them, please contact your local law enforcement agency and let them know where and when, in addition to what make and model of vehicle they are in, and a license number, if possible," he said.

The Montana Department of Justice has relayed a report from the Helena Police Department about two missing children.

14 year-old Bailey Michael Parker is considered to be a suicidal runaway juvenile and may possibly be heading to Butte.

Parker was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and may be carrying a black and orange backpack.

Parker is reported to have left a Helena area school at about 8: a.m. accompanied by 15 year-old Rachael Parmer, who is also considered missing.

If either or both of these teenagers are located, please contact the Helena Police Department at 406-442-3233.
