Both the Montana men's and women's basketball teams lost their games on the road on Friday, November 29.

Montana Sports Information says the Lady Griz lost to North Dakota State in the opening game of the Loyola Marymount Double Tree Los Angeles Westside Thanksgiving Classic 70-53 on Friday afternoon.

Montana, now 3-1 for the season, shot only 30.8% from the field and was out-rebounded by 13.

The Lady Griz will face Loyola Marymount at 2 p.m.

The Montana men lost at Hawaii 72-61 to the Rainbow Warriors. Kareen Jamar led the Grizzlies with 16 points.Montana now stands at just 1-4 for the season, after winning the Big Sky Conference and qualifying for the NCAA tournament last year.

Up next, the Grizzlies are home for three straight games, against Idaho on December 11, St. Martin on December 15 and Montana-Western on December 20.
