The Montana track and field teams head to Pullman, Wash., for the Washington State Cougar Indoor for the two-day meet Friday and Saturday. Teams participating along with Montana include Washington State, UCLA, Idaho and Utah State.

The one-day women’s pentathlon and first day of the men’s heptathlon will take Friday, along with the men’s long jump, pole vault and weight throw and women’s weight throw.

The remainder of the meet will be held on Saturday.

Montana will have a solo entry in both the men’s heptathlon and women’s pentathlon: freshman Tyler Spalding and junior Lindsey Hall. Spalding will be competing in his second career multi-events. Hall is the defending Big Sky Conference champion in the pentathlon and the Montana school record holder.

Montana will travel to Moscow, Idaho, next weekend for another two-day meet at the University of Idaho. The weekend is actually two separate meets, with the 36th annual Vandal Indoor Friday and the Runner’s Soul Open Saturday.
