The Miami Dolphins came oh-so-close to getting their first victory of the season, but ultimately fell short against the New York Giants 20-17.

Former Grizzly Jimmy Wilson got the start at cornerback, and responded with 2 tackles, 1 assist, 1 quarterback hit and 1 pass defensed.

Kicker Dan Carpenter was his usual reliable self. He finished 1-for-1 on field goal attempts, knocking one through from 40 yards away. He was also 2-for-2 on PAT kicks, and recorded 1 special teams tackle. Running back Lex Hilliard also picked up a tackle on special teams, had 1 carry for 4 yards, and made 1 catch for 7 yards.

In Tennessee, the Titans followed up last week's disappointing loss to Houston with a 27-10 drubbing of the Indianapolis Colts. Receiver Marc Mariani was targeted once in the passing game, but finished with zero receptions. Mariani also returned two punts for 39 yards.

And on Sunday night in Philadelphia, the Eagles continued their rise from the bottom of the standings with a convincing 34-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Safety Colt Anderson finished with 1 tackle on special teams.
