BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Former Montana State kicker Jason Cunningham says he's been invited to the Kansas Chief Chiefs mini-camp starting May 10.

Cunningham told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle he heard the news from his agent Tuesday, three days after the NFL draft wrapped up.

Cunningham said he was in a meeting when Kansas City special teams coach Tom McMahon called him Wednesday morning. McMahon is a Helena native who played football at Carroll College and started his coaching career at the NAIA school.

Cunningham is a two-time All-American and holds MSU records with 359 career points, including a season record 113 points in 2011. He hit three 55-yard field goals during his career with the Bobcats.
