Early Wednesday morning, a Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 71 year-old Seeley Lake man drove off Locust Drive and crashed into several parked vehicles before coming to a stop. 

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Burman, the investigating officer on the scene, said the unidentified man suffered a medical emergency while driving, and then crashed his vehicle after becoming unconscious behind the wheel.

Burman and other first responders performed CPR on the driver, but he said the man was pronounced dead in the ambulance as he was being transported to the hospital.

No other people were injured in the accident that occurred just after 6:00 a,m. on Wednesday. Burman said the victim was involved with the convenience store at Clearwater Junction at Highways 200 and 83.
