HELENA, Mont. (AP) — State fire officials say firefighters are gaining ground on a blaze near Lincoln.

Fire Prevention Coordinator Cindy Super says the fire is about 60 percent contained Wednesday evening and its size has been revised from 300 acres to 200 acres.

The fire broke out Wednesday afternoon near the Blackfoot River. Super says fire officials believe the blaze is human caused and will be investigated.

Evacuations are no longer in effect after being initially ordered for the 30 to 50 people who live between the Sunny Slope Ranch and the Dalton Mountain Bridge.

Crews were expected to work through the night.

Rain was forecast to fall overnight and on Thursday.
