42 year-old Terry Lynn Baillargeon will be charged with negligent homicide on Wednesday, after injecting her husband with heroin. Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jason Marks says Baillargeon died from an overdose Friday night.

According to court records, on January 2, Missoula police responded to a home on Charlo Street where Lawrence Baillargeon had evidently overdosed on heroin. He was transported to St. Patrick Hospital for treatment.

Upon being interviewed, Terry Lynn Baillargeon admitted injecting her husband with heroin with his consent. After he collapsed, she attempted to perform CPR while a neighbor went for help.  Baillargeon admitted to washing the needle she had used and returning it to the bedroom.

During the justice court hearing, Marks asked bail to be set at $50,000 because he anticipated that Baillargeon might also be charged with negligent homicide by Monday, as her husband was not expected to survive. After hearing this news from the jail, Baillargeon broke down in tears while judge Karen Orzech ordered the woman returned to jail on $50,000 bond.
