Carroll Golfer Wins NAIA National Honor

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Carroll College golfer Jim Mee has been named the final NAIA men’s golfer of the week for the 2012 season.

The senior from Libby carded a four-round score of 277 at the Frontier Conference Golf Championships held at Larchmont Golf Course in Missoula on April 23-24, in helping the Fighting Saints win their first league golf title.

His first-round score of 64 set a tournament course record and he carded the lowest four-round individual score.

Carroll competes in the NAIA national tournament May 22-25 in Salem, Ore.
