BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says a 20-year-old Bozeman man died and his passenger was injured in a weekend crash in the Bridger Canyon northeast of Bozeman.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports the man was driving his pickup truck southbound on Montana Highway 86 at 2:43 a.m. Sunday when he lost control on a curve. The truck slid off the side of the road and rolled several times, coming to rest upright in a field.

The man died at the scene. His 19-year-old female passenger was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Their names have not been released.

The patrol says neither was wearing a seat belt.
