A Spanish organization called Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk Foundation has created an ad that shows two seperate messages. One message is for adults and the other is for kids.

The ad when looked at from an adult’s perspective, or height, the child on the ad looks healthy and the ad reads about child abuse. However, from a child’s perspective, or height, the child in the ad is covered in bruises and a phone number is given for children who suffer abuse to call.

Some people have an issue with the ad because kids have to be old enough to read and know how to use a phone. I suppose it is always easy to look for the negative in things. This ad was meant to save children’s lives.

I think that if just one child is saved from this ad, then it was worth it. If just one more child doesn’t have to be afraid to go home from school, or if one more child doesn’t have to worry about covering up a bruise, then won’t it all have been worth it?
