All Of Mount Jumbo Open May 1st [AUDIO]

On Tuesday, all of Mount Jumbo will be open to hikers and recreationists. Parts of the mountain are closed during the winter so that a herd of elk thereb will not be stressed by the presence of humans or dogs.
Lands Manager Morgan Valiant says the elk herd is still in the area, but is far enough away not to fear human contact. Valiant asks all dog owners to have their animals in voice or leash control while on the mountain. His comments are below.
