The Lake County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the 3rd victim in Saturday night’s 2-vehicle head-on crash that claimed three lives. Detective Lieutenant Mike Sargeant identified the third victim as 22 year old Stephanie Nicole Parker of Arlee. Parker, her husband and two children were in a Pontiac Grand Am that was struck by a Hyundai Tiburon driven by 19 year-old Trevor Olson of Missoula. Olson and his 14 year-old cousin Tanner Olson were also killed in the crash. Parker’s two children, a 4 year-old and an infant were taken to Missoula and then to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries.

It was noted by the Montana Highway Patrol that no one in either vehicle was wearing a seat-belt, or buckled

into a child safety-seat. Lt. Sargeant says the best way to stay alive in a car crash is to wear your seat belt at all times, and make sure all children are properly secured. His comment is attached.
