Woman Faces Child Endangerment Charges After DUI Arrest at Missoula Police Station
Missoula police made an arrest right outside their headquarters on Tuesday evening. According to Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, 31-year-old Britnie Mamuzich was arrested while on her way to the police station.
"She was arrested at City Hall, as a matter of fact, for DUI and Criminal Child Endangerment after she had driven to the Police Department to speak to an officer about a previously reported incident that she was involved in," Welsh said. "She also had in her car some young children, ages one and six, and due to the subsequent investigation is being held for criminal child endangerment."
Criminal Child Endangerment is a felony charge, however, the Aggravated DUI Mamuzich received was just a misdemeanor. Aggravated DUI charges are elevated charges from a typical DUI, which can result from having higher Blood Alcohol Content, a suspended license, a prior conviction e.t.c.
