TransCanada is confident its proposed Keystone XL Pipeline through Eastern Montana will be approved. This, after announcing Monday the pipeline will not be built near the environmentally sensitive sand hills area of Nebraska. Company official Alex Pourbax says  they have heard overwhelming support for the pipeline.

The exact route has not been determined, but Pourbaix says Nebraska would play a key role in deciding it. Environmentalists insist that they will keep trying to prevent the controversial oil sands project from ever being built.
