The Missoula College Diesel Technology Program recently was awarded a grant to expand access to critical training tools and essential equipment.

The University of Montana announced recently that the Washington Foundation’s continuing support of the EdReady program brought another $3.5 million gift to keep the highly successful program operating around the state.

The Missoula YMCA was celebrating on Tuesday after two generous donations significantly lowered emergency child care costs for healthcare and other essential workers.

There was excitement and enthusiasm in abundance on Wednesday night during the opening ceremonies of the 2017 Special Olympics Summer Games in the Adams Center, but it was Phyllis Washington who really rocked the house.

This is the second of three years that Missoula is hosting the Montana Special Olympics Summer Games, and the opening ceremonies were held Wednesday night in Washington Grizzly Stadium.

On Friday,the University of Montana announced a $7 million gift from the Washington Foundation that will help build a new combination weight room and locker room facility.
