U.S. Attorney Michael Cotter announced on Friday that the University of Montana Police Department has fully implemented the agreement to improve its response to reports of sexual assault.

The Missoula City Council chambers was the scene Friday morning of a presentation by Mayor John Engen and the team involved in preparing an audit required by the Department of Justice as part of the settlement agreement with Missoula.

An unidentified male student was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon in Craig Hall on the University of Montana campus.

A former University of Montana student suspected of making inappropriate comments to female students and groping one of those students in fall 2013 has been identified.
