Shooting Incident

Missoula County Sheriff's Officer Jeannette issued the following press release early Tuesday morning safeguarding a shooting incident that occurred on Ancabide Lane in the Upper Miller Creek area.

The individual responsible for firing a rifle several times from a porch on East Beckwith Avenue on Wednesday will be charged after an investigation has been completed.

Monday at about 4:40 p.m. A Missoula police officer was involved in a shooting incident.

After a shooting incident near downtown Missoula early Monday morning, the Ravalli County Sheriff's Office has been asked to conduct the investigation.

UPDATE - Sunday, June 30, 2013 4:19 p.m. Missoula County Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Stinefort was involved in a shooting on Friday during a drug investigation.
