When it comes to sexual intimacy, the new standard for dating is ‘explicit consent’, according to a new campaign launched this week by Make Your Move, part of Missoula City County Relationship Violence Services.

Bars and taverns in western Montana now have a new resource to help keep customers feeling safe and welcome with a new Sexual Violence Prevention Digital Toolkit.

In a shocking new survey just released by the 'Make Your Move' campaign to end sexual violence, 84 percent of women surveyed said they had experienced verbal harassment or a physical altercation at least once in a Missoula bar or tavern.

Even though agencies that combat domestic and sexual violence work well together, access by the overall community to services can sometimes be confusing and difficult.
