Sexual or Violent Offender Registry

While children will be trick-or-treating on Halloween, the Missoula Police Department is making information available to parents about those in their neighborhoods who are listed with the Sexual and Violent Offender Registry.

Conducting the compliance check required a lot of door knocking and it appears not everyone was obeying the law.

On Friday, October 4, the Montana Department of Justice and the Great Falls Police Department announced the results of a joint operation to locate unregistered violent or sexual offenders.
