Sergeant Bob Heinle

Monday was the eighth anniversary of the death of Missoula Police Sergeant Bob Heinle, who was shot and wounded in the line of duty in 1998.

It was eight years ago on Monday, that Sergeant Bob Heinle of the Missoula Police Department died after being shot in the line of duty in October, 1998.

Flags all over Missoula were at half-staff on Friday. This past week has been National Police Week, which culminated with Peace Officers Memorial Day on Friday, May 15.
