Providence Health and Services of Western Montana is sponsoring a free community talk today called “Transforming Health Care: The Cost of Care.”

Cardiac experts, doctors and nurses from the International Heart Institute will present their annual Heart Expo this Saturday, February 27 from 7 a.m. till noon  at the Broadway Building Conference Center inside St. Patrick Hospital.

In the inaugural edition of Health Talk on Newstalk KGVO Radio, Jeff Fee, CEO of Providence Health and Services at St. Patrick Hospital, said the healthcare organization is in the middle of a paradigm shift in its payment structure.

Missoula's St. Patrick Hospital issued a press release on Friday, outlining protocols for the possibility of receiving a patient with Ebola, or another serious infectious disease.
