Today, August 31st, representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy were in Colstrip, Montana along with Governor Steve Bullock and the owners of the Colstrip Power Plants to discuss possible new technology that could keep the plants running.

The Montana Public Service Commission voted 3-2 Tuesday to disallow costs related to a 2013 outage of Colstrip Unit 4 to be passed on to Northwestern Energy’s customers.
