The Montana Department of Justice's Motor Vehicle Division has signed a driver’s license reciprocity agreement with Taiwan that will take effect on October 10, 2020.
Montana’s legislature and governor tasked the Motor Vehicle Division with creating an optional driver license that complies with the federal REAL ID Act of 2005.
Starting in 2018, the State of Montana Motor Vehicle Division will take a step back in time in regards to license plates, or more specifically, the tabs that denote the registration year.
